Join us for this special farewell performance of From Cuba to 'Cuse for its 15th-year celebration. Proceeds for this celebration will benefit La Joven Guardia del Teatro Latino, Inc., and the Community Folk Art Center.

A new play by Matthew Labanca reveals the reality of unjust firings of Catholic employees based on sexual orientation. The play tells the true story of a long-time Catholic school teacher who marries the man he loves only to be fired by the church, upending his faith and unsettling his entire community. Based on the real-life story of Broadway actor and playwright Matthew LaBanca, Communion is a powerful solo show that spotlights themes of delusion, spiritual trauma, and hope, reminding those who would use religion to discriminate against LGBTQIA+ people that the most basic tenet of a spiritual life is that we are called to love one another.
